Description:

Transformational leadership represents the current best practices for business growth and provides a new framework of thinking for leading self, leading others, and leading organizations.

For centuries, leaders told people what to do and you either did it or suffered the consequences.  This style of “leadership” or management carried over into the modern work world especially after the Second World War.  Bosses set the rules and employees who do well are rewarded and those who do not are penalized. This approach ensured effective and efficient completion of assignments.

In the 21st century, the command and control type of leadership no longer works.  We have evolved the concept of leadership to a person who influences people to follow them to complete a task or mission. Employees have more options, and the rate of change in the business environment has escalated.  Successful leaders can have great power and influence but no longer because of their position.

The Arizona Technology Council and ImpaQ Solutions are excited to announce a partnership to bring a transformational leadership development program to Arizona.  Leaders who previously wanted to participate in transformational leadership programs had to travel to locations such as San Francisco, Boston, Washington, DC, or the United Kingdom.  This Arizona-based program provides a unique opportunity for Arizona business leaders to better balance their day-to-day responsibilities with the need to learn new leadership skills to help move their company to a higher
.

Learners will:
  • Review different levels of leadership
  • Differentiate between entrepreneur, transactional leadership and transformational leadership
  • Learn about new Transformational Leadership Program offered in Arizona.
