What is a high potential and how do they contribute to the current and future success of the organization? This presentation and discussion is designed to address both the theory and practical elements of developing high-potentials. It will includes establishing ongoing growth and development plans, both formal and informal learning, and evaluating strategy for retaining and energizing the high-potential individual through mentoring, coaching, and ongoing feedback.
We will put this knowledge to the test by analyzing and discussing a successful example of one way a well-known global organization, engages and develops talent at local levels. The “Leadership Acceleration Program” approach has become a critical strategy for developing high-potentials that are shaping the future of the company.
Presenter: Dave Boizelle
Dave’s passion is accelerating the development of managers and leaders.
He is currently the Chief Learning Officer at Leadership Choice, a successful and growing company with a proven learning methodology that assures up to 80% learning transfer by combining pre-learning activities and post-learning follow up with the learning event.
Dave has expertise in leadership development and talent management with unique capabilities in blended learning, experiential learning, coaching and mentoring, and HiPo programs. He has a depth of experience in mid-sized and global organizations and draws upon his extensive human resource and training background as he works to accelerate the development managers and leaders.
Prior to working with Leadership Choice, Dave was the Chief Learning Officer of a global mid-sized professional services organization. He also has extensive experience as a Director of Human Resources and Director of Recruiting in the professional and business services industry.
Dave graduated with a BS in Administrative Systems and Business Education and a MS in Instructional Technology from Utah State University.
