Program Title: Stress is Heavy-Lighten Up!

NOTE: Dinner is provided.

Description: There is an invisible disease that is plaguing our communities. It destroys families, threatens jobs, stifles innovation, creates medical and legal problems and reduces the GNP. It is the plague of HURRY. It is silent, undefined; most are infected and feel there is no remedy. The viruses of economic distress and technological omnipotence combine to infect you at work and at home. We are speeding past our own lives. Join Lou in this highly interactive sunrise session where she will share current research on this disease and give you specific tools to increase awareness of your own infection and new ideas for learning to go fast without hurrying. You will be challenged to ‘train’ for a different life, to grow resilience and to focus.  You will be asked to pause, cut yourself some slack and go a different way. You will re-establish your own base to move toward what you need and want and away from the chaos.

The ASTD Competencies that will be emphasized in this program are the following:

ASTD Competencies: Improving human performance, facilitating organizational change, coaching.

 

Program Fees:

Members Cost: $25
Non-Members Cost: $40

Definition of member: If you are a member of ASTD National, but you are not a member of the ASTD Valley of the Sun chapter, you are a non-member ($40). If you are member of the ASTD Valley of the Sun chapter, you are a member ($25).
