More Information:

Our fun and festive evening of celebration has been planned by Pat Cramer, Heidi (Hougham) Fransway, Don Thoren, Phoebe Swan (ASTD Valley of the Sun Chapter) and Don Fraser (Grand Canyon University).

Join your professional colleagues on Friday, May 17, 2013 to thank and honor these human achievement industry giants who have contributed to our rich and varied career paths.

We have a rare opportunity to celebrate three giants in our industry, Dr. Joyce Parker, Dr. Rob Jones and Ed Scannell, the pioneers who paved the way for those of us who followed in the field of human development.  Many of us have benefited from their wise counsel, mentoring and friendship, and certainly all of us have benefited from their legacies.  Although their walls are filled with honors, there is no greater acknowledgment than personally thanking them for a job well-done.

Joyce, Ed, and Rob were each recognized by the global organization of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) as individuals who contributed to the overall betterment of our field.  They were all named Gordon Bliss Award recipients, which is the highest honor that ASTD bestows.  Only one person is honored each year, and very few in our profession have ever attained this honor. Now is our opportunity to give Joyce, Ed, and Rob a “second-touch” of recognition and gratitude.

This complimentary event is graciously being hosted by Grand Canyon University and is one evening you won’t want to miss!  Limited seating will be available.
