Guest Speaker: Kimberle Schumann, 2017 ATD VOS Kirkpatrick Scholarship Winner

Kimberle graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and moved to Arizona in 1993.  She has been with PSAV since 1998 in many different roles. Prior to joining the Global Learning team in 2014, Kimberle was a Director of Event Technology and Director of Operations for PSAV at The Arizona Biltmore then Director of Event Technology at The Phoenician.  She has also worked in the local branch in many operations positions as well as a Project Manager for conventions and corporate road shows.

Currently, Kimberle oversees the three Learning Centers in Tempe AZ., Orlando, FL., and Elgin, IL.  Along with the Learning Center Specialists, she coordinates the Instructor-Led and high-end training for PSAV.  In addition, she facilitates instructor on-boarding and lift certifications.

Our ATD Valley of the Sun Community of Practice is group of like-minded, often similar in role and responsibilities, that strive to help one another in their respective work-environments. They share best practices, discuss difficult situations that they have worked through or overcome, and bring new innovative approaches to the group to improve industry standards.
