A Networking Blueprint for Building Relationships in Our New Age
July 27, 2020
Most think of Networking as walking into a crowded room with a smile and some business cards HOPING to say the right thing. Now, with text messaging, apps, and social media, we face new challenges connecting as the room becomes more virtual. Regardless of the environment, networking is a skill to build relationships. This presentation will discuss critical networking practices to quickly create connections and build rapport as well as identify ways to create networking opportunities in our growing virtual world.
Meet Your Facilitator
PJ Rovinelli is a lifelong coach turned speaker and facilitator who has spent over a decade building high performance teams on the foundation of personal leadership and wellbeing. A former Springfield College (MA) graduate with a degree in Business Management, he started his leadership journey as a two-sport NCAA DIII athlete on the lacrosse team and captain of the wrestling team. He continued his passion for leading teams on the field and became a collegiate lacrosse and rugby coach (trading his snow scraper for sunblock) in sunny Arizona. PJ shifted from locker rooms to boardrooms when he founded the consulting firm, Humanics Coaching, specializing in talent development and corporate wellness. PJ currently serves as the Director of Learning and Development for Ewing Irrigation and Landscape Supply, the largest family-owned supplier of landscape and water management products in the US, where he brings an obnoxious amount of passion helping develop human potential all while having fun doing it.
