Program Title: Presentations that WOW Your Audience! Techniques that Engage and Inspire Participants to Action!

You know you don’t want to be that speaker or trainer.  You know; the one who bores everyone to tears with dry lectures and endless PowerPoint slides leaving them checking their I Phones and Blackberries rather than participating.  If you’re going to spend time and effort putting together a learning session, why not spend a few extra minutes learning how to make your workshop even more exciting-energetic-valuable.  And, focused on business results!

Based on The Engaging Expert:  Best Practices for Occasional Speakers and Accidental Trainers, author, instructional designer, facilitator and former ASTD Board leader Sheila Krejci, M Ed HRD will help you recreate even dry content to make it interesting capturing your audience’s attention, then keeping them motivated to the end.  When you deploy even a handful of the methods and techniques you’ll learn in this session, your presentations will dramatically increase their impact on measureable behavior change.  You’ll leave your audiences clear about your message and your CALL TO ACTION!

• Consider at least 10 new opportunities to minimize PowerPoint Pain for audiences.
• Experience dozens of activities and tools to replace traditional lecture when delivering your expertise
• Separate the need to know from the nice to know and the where to go in developing participant focused materials for your session.
