Enterprise Social Scared Straight - Learn By Doing

Abstract:

Attendees will get practical tips on how to inject themselves into their enterprise social strategies. How to have discussions with business leaders and IT on the value that enterprise social brings to their companies. They'll also gain insights into ways they can help drive the appropriate change management behaviors in order for enterprise social to be successful. How to begin to weave social into their existing training and learning programs. The only prerequisite for this session is a thirst for knowledge, and a passion to make your organization better through the use of enterprise social tools and techniques.

Presenter Bio:

Allison MichelsAllison Michels is a Manager of Learning and Development for Yammer Education Services at Microsoft. She delivers education programs to customers and engages in the people side of change. Her focus is training and coaching the C-suite. Prior to Yammer, Allison was an IT Training Analyst at First Solar, a premier provider of fully integrated solar solutions. Allison holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Toledo and Masters of Education, Technology and Leadership from The George Washington University. Follow her at @anicole87. Abstract:

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn why mobile learning is rapidly increasing in popularity, and how you can turn smartphones and tablets into performance support tools. We will discuss the challenges of mobile training, and help participants see the benefits of staying connected using text messaging and mobile web content. You will see examples of how small and large organizations are using mobile training to increase knowledge retention and productivity in their work force. Participants will realize how easy it is to devise a mobile strategy with the right mobile web technology solution.

Presenter Bios:

Gabe VeuveGabe Veuve, Vice President of Sales, joins Train by Cell after 14 years of selling and building sales teams in the IT services and software industry. Ute HülseBorn and raised in Germany, Ute Hülse moved to the U.S. to further her education mid-career. After graduating with an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University, she applied her degree for a decade in marketing and public relations for 2 large U.S. health care organizations in Honolulu. She is a former employee of the German American Chamber of Commerce for the Western United States, and acts as liaison to our German partner and clients, combining American software technology with German market knowledge.
